Humphree and Propspeed have entered into a strategic partnership, with Humphree endorsing the use of Propspeed’s Foulfree Multi-Surface System across its fins and interceptors.
The collaboration aims to protect stabilisation performance below the waterline, while maintaining efficiency, reliability and system integrity.
Propspeed’s biocide-free foul-release coating will be applied to Humphree’s stabilisation technology, to support long-term protection of key underwater components in demanding marine environments.
Propspeed launched the Foulfree Multi-Surface System in October 2025.
By preventing marine growth build-up on fins and interceptors, Foulfree Multi-Surface helps ensure Humphree’s stabilisation systems can maintain performance in every sea state – operating as designed, with consistent handling and improved fuel efficiency throughout the season, while reducing the need for in-water cleaning and maintenance.

Hamilton discussed his role at Propspeed and view of business culture, strategy and growth with MIN after Metstrade last year. This partnership is the latest strategic move the company has made of working alongside technically aligned industry partners who share a focus on quality, performance and responsible marine practices.
This latest partnership builds on existing affiliations with Cranchi Yachts and Camber Marine, reinforcing a collective commitment to guarding underwater assets across both new build and refit applications using Humphree’s product line.
Propspeed’s product lineup includes Propspeed for running gear and underwater metals, Foulfree Multi-Surface System for non-metal substrates, Lightspeed for underwater lighting, and Stripspeed, a foul-release coating remover.
