What’s on at Foiling Week 2026
Alongside the boat racing schedule, a dedicated programme for foiling boards will run in parallel. From On 27 June to 30 June, pump foil, e-foil and downwind activities will be based in the event village in central Malcesine, currently under development in the Paina area in collaboration with the municipality. This programme aims to encourage interaction between the public, athletes and partners. The Wingfoil Race will take place from 2 July to 5 July, based at Fraglia Vela Malcesine, completing the on-water programme across the various foiling disciplines.
The second edition of the Foiling Sport Congress will be hosted on 1-2 July, organised by The Foiling Organization, where athletes, federations, classes, event organisers and industry stakeholders will gather to discuss the development of foiling as a sport. Attendees should register online using the link above.
We Are Foiling Head of Performance Giulia Conti, supported by specialised coaches, will lead two training clinics dedicated to the WASZP, Switch One Design classes and the Moth class.
The public trial programme is due to be further expanded. The 2026 edition will offer a wide range of experiences designed to engage a diverse audience, from enthusiasts to newcomers.
Among the new features of the 13th edition, organisers say Harken’s presence further strengthens Foiling Week’s role as a leading platform for innovation in high-performance sailing. A global leader in the production and sale of deck hardware, hydraulic systems, and winches for sailing boats, Harken is active at the highest levels of international sailing, from the America’s Cup to ocean racing, as well as Olympic Classes and Maxi circuits. This year, the company has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with Foiling Week, one of the main international platforms dedicated to foiling.
Emanuele Cecchini, commercial director EMEA & APAC at Harken, says: “Foiling is radically redefining the technical demands of sailing, setting increasingly higher standards in terms of loads, speed, and control. In this context, Foiling Week represents a key opportunity for dialogue among designers, teams, and companies. For Harken, participation is therefore a concrete opportunity to showcase ever more advanced solutions and to strengthen its role not only as a market leader, but also as a point of reference in innovation. We are proud to take part in Foiling Week and believe that this collaboration can represent an opportunity for exchange and growth.”
Programme updates and detailed information are available in real time on the Foiling Week website.
