US retail giant MarineMax has signed an exclusive agreement with World Cat to introduce Ducari Yachts, a new line of luxury power catamarans, to the market.
Under the terms of the deal, Ducari Yachts will be sold exclusively through MarineMax.

The brand’s inaugural model, the Ducari 37XIV Sport, will initially debut across nine strategically selected MarineMax locations throughout Florida.
Brett McGill, chief executive officer and president of MarineMax, says: “Our strategy of crafting long-term partnering relationships with leading boat builders led us to create this promising partnership with World Cat. MarineMax understands the appeal of catamarans, having successfully grown our power catamaran business into one of the largest in the world. We’re pleased to partner with World Cat, a longtime leader in catamaran design, to bring Ducari Yachts to market.”
“Ducari was purpose-built to focus on the luxury cruising segment,” says World Cat and Ducari Yachts CEO Andrew Brown. “We hope to grow the entire catamaran category with this exciting new brand and have a real opportunity to showcase the performance of a double hull form as a premium option for boaters looking to experience a new standard of stability and refinement.”
The Ducari 37XIV Sport is available through MarineMax locations in Clearwater, Fort Myers, Harbour Towne, Jupiter, Miami, Naples, Pompano Beach, Sarasota, and West Palm Beach.
Turbulent times at MarineMax
The new agreement follows a tumultuous period for the recreational boat, yacht and superyacht services companies.
In February 2026, Donerail Group published a scathing letter calling out a ‘corrosive culture of nepotism’ at MarineMax, after its offer to acquire MarineMax in all-cash deal worth $1bn was rejected.
Levin Capital Strategies – a fellow top 10 shareholder of MarineMax – followed up with a statement calling on the company’s board of directors to initiate ‘an immediate review of strategic alternatives’, following ‘prior failures to capitalise on credible acquisition offers’.
Latest reports have noted that MarineMax is reportedly preparing to sell.
