Yachting Ventures launches in-house platform to centralise marine startup deal flow

Marine startup and scaleup hub, Yachting Ventures, is launching its Fundraising Feed – a platform that provides investors with a centralised view of companies actively raising capital across the marine innovation ecosystem.

Hosted within the existing Yachting Ventures community platform, the new feed brings all investor communications in-house. The move concludes a previous partnership with a third-party provider, giving the hub greater control over how it curates and distributes deal flow to its investor network.

The platform will be continuously updated with companies currently raising from across the Yachting Ventures community, alongside monthly investor events and communications covering company progress, new raises, and key milestones.

To maintain network integrity, investors seeking access to the feed must undergo a vetting process by the Yachting Ventures team to ensure a secure, trusted environment for both founders and backers.

Yachting Ventures has built its investor network over the past six years through a consistent programme of fundraising support for startups and pitch events, both at leading international boat shows and through its own quarterly online sessions.

Last year, 55 founders took the stage to pitch at Yachting Ventures events globally, including at Metstrade, IBEX, boot Düsseldorf and the Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous in Monaco. This support is already translating into real outcomes, with startups across the Yachting Ventures community collectively raising over £12 million in the past year alone.

Gabriella Richardson (pictured left), founder of Yachting Ventures, says: “We are incredibly proud to be supporting so many brilliant startups and scaleups in our community and the volume of companies raising right now is testament to just how much innovation is happening in this space.

“Until now, dealflow in the sector has been fragmented across networks, events, and informal introductions. Bringing our investor platform in-house gives us full control to curate, structure, and surface the most relevant opportunities for investors in one place.

“At the same time, we want founders to feel confident about who is accessing their fundraising information. By introducing an application process for investors, we’re able to maintain a high-quality, engaged and relevant investor network while creating a trusted environment for both sides of the fundraising conversation.”

Yachting Ventures is now inviting active investors with an interest in the leisure marine industry to join the Fundraising Feed, including venture capital (VC) firms, corporate venture capital (CVC) teams, strategic industry investors, family offices and angel groups.

Interested investors can apply to join the platform via this short application form.
