Metstrade 2026 opens visitor registration

Visitor registration has opened for Metstrade 2026, which takes place at RAI Amsterdam from 17-19 November.

The annual event brings together professionals from across the leisure marine industry, with more than 1,700 exhibitors expected across 13 exhibition halls this year.

Alongside the exhibition, the event includes a programme of industry sessions, workshops and networking activities taking place before, during and after the show.

Free registration is available until 1 November.

Metstrade 2026 programme highlights

For 2026, the conference programme has been revised with a greater emphasis on longer sessions and dedicated networking opportunities. The Metstrade Stage and Superyacht Stage will each host 45-minute presentations followed by 30-minute networking sessions, giving delegates more time to continue discussions.

Programme highlights include the Superyacht Stage session ‘Opportunities for Nuclear Propulsion in the Superyacht Industry’ on Tuesday 17 November at 11.30am. The session will examine the potential role of technologies including Small Modular Reactors in maritime decarbonisation, along with possible implications for yacht design and operations.

Safety and operational subjects have also been more closely integrated into the Superyacht Stage programme. Topics previously presented separately, including those involving the KNVTS (The Royal Dutch Society of Marine Engineers), have been incorporated into the main programme to reflect the links between operational practice, safety and wider industry developments.

The Metstrade Stage will also host ‘Marpol in Practice – Closing the Compliance Gap in Leisure Marine’ on Thursday 19 November at 12.30. The session looks at how environmental regulations affect day-to-day operations, including marina management and insurance considerations, and explores practical approaches to improving compliance.

The North American Stage, located in Hall 12 and developed with NMMA, IBEX and Soundings Trade Only, will focus on developments in international markets. Among the scheduled sessions is ‘New Tools, New Rules: Marine Marketing in the Age of AI’, which considers how artificial intelligence, data and creative technologies are influencing marketing across the marine industry.

Innovation-focused events include the Yachting Ventures Startup Pitch Competition on Wednesday 18 November at 12.30pm, bringing together startups, scaleups investors and industry representatives.

Sustainability initiatives include the Marine Impact Lab, which provides support for exhibitors seeking to communicate the environmental aspects of their products and developments. Companies and startups shortlisted for this year’s DAME Design Awards (entries now open) will receive complimentary sustainability training through the programme.

The Crew Voices Interactive Workshop, taking place on Wednesday 18 November, will examine training, leadership and workforce development within the superyacht sector.

Updated exhibition layout

The 2026 exhibition will also introduce a revised floor layout intended to make it easier for visitors to move between different areas of the show. Planned changes include an expanded Superyacht Zone, a relocated Marina & Yard Zone and a larger Construction Materials Zone.

Niels Klarenbeek, director RAI Marine Technology, says:

“The 2026 floorplan isn’t just bigger, it’s structured differently to improve visitor experience. By regrouping the Superyacht, Marina & Yard and Construction Materials zones, we’re cutting the distance between visitors and the conversations that matter most to them so they can spend more time in front of new products, new exhibitors and the connections that drive business.”

The Superyacht Forum will take place alongside Metstrade from 16-17 November 2026 at RAI Amsterdam. Held under the theme “Accelerate the Evolution”, the programme will cover subjects including sustainability, innovation, infrastructure, regulation, talent and operational excellence.

The Women in the Marine Industry International panel and networking breakfast is also back at Metstrade 2026, following last year’s sell-out success.
