Aquila Catamarans has appointed eight additional dealers to represent its sailing segment following the launch of its first sailboat. The new appointments bring the company’s global dealer network to more than 100 locations.
Previously known for its power catamarans, the 50 Sail is the first sailing model in the Aquila portfolio.

In the US, The Catamaran Company will handle sales of Aquila sailing catamarans. The company specialises in the sail market and provides sales, yacht management and maintenance services.
Whitehaven has been appointed to represent Aquila in Australia and New Zealand. The company will display the 50 Sail at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show from 21–24 May, where the model will make its Australian premiere.
Primus Marine now represents Aquila in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
Barcando has been named the exclusive sail dealer for Italy, operating along the Tyrrhenian coastline. In Ajaccio, Corsica Multicoques will distribute Aquila sail models in Corsica.
Athenian Yachts has been appointed dealer for Aquila’s sail models in Greece, covering the Ionian, Cyclades, Saronic, Sporades and Dodecanese regions.
Perfect Boat will represent Aquila in Bulgaria as both a power and sail dealer.
Estupenda Náutica, which already represents Aquila’s power catamarans, will now also cover the sailing range in Spain and Portugal.
The 50 Sail model is also scheduled to appear next at the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte from 22–26 April 2026, marking its European debut. The Sail range is set to expand with the introduction of the 44 Sail, due in September or October 2026, and the 65 Sail, planned for September or October 2027.
The eight recently appointed dealers will represent the Aquila Sail brand across key regions, with further additions to the network under consideration.
Nick Harvey, chief revenue officer at Aquila Catamarans, says: “The launch of our sailing range is going from strength to strength, and we are pleased to make the 50 Sail accessible to more buyers via our new dealers. They are experts in the market and the perfect representatives for the 50 Sail and wider Aquila Sail range. We are proud of this new chapter and the positive reception the 50 Sail, we look forward to seeing even more sailors experience the innovation, design and comfort that defines Aquila.”
The 50 Sail was developed in collaboration with J&J Design. The model incorporates bridge-to-bow stairs to improve onboard access and features a contemporary exterior profile. Accommodation is available in four, five or six-cabin layouts arranged across the two hulls. Cabins include private entrances and ensuite facilities with walk-in showers. The design places emphasis on interior volume, head height and onboard storage.
