CL Yachts has launched the first CLB65 SUV at its production facility in Zhuhai, China, with sea trials slated for April 2026 and the yacht’s official premiere in Hong Kong.
The 19.7-metre model represents a sportier and versatile evolution of CLB65 platform, featuring an SUV-style layout designed for owner-operators. The launch marks the next step in the Hong Kong-based boatbuilder’s strategic growth across the Asia-Pacific region.
First unveiled in May 2025 and entering construction in the second quarter of the same year, the CLB65 SUV forms part of the brand’s B-Series.
The design aims to offer a practical deck layout with flexible use of space. Power options come in the form of twin Caterpillar C18 or Volvo Penta D13 diesel engines, with an expected top speed of 29+ knots at half load. CL Yachts has opted for the ZF JMS control system, which can be operated from either wing station.
Owners can choose RINA hull construction or CE Category B class certification.
Designed by Supertomato Studio, the interior offers a contemporary look with natural materials and understated detailing. On the main deck, the aft deck, galley and saloon are arranged on a single level to create a continuous living area.
Accommodation on the lower deck comprises a full-beam master stateroom, a VIP cabin, and a convertible guest cabin.
“Launching the first CLB65 SUV is an important milestone for our team,” says Martin Lo, director of CL Yachts. “This model expands our B-Series with a flexible layout well-suited for owner operation, while retaining the build quality and performance standards our clients expect.”
