The Flexiteek International Group, developer and manufacturer of synthetic marine decking, has expanded its operations in the United States with new appointments at Flexiteek USA, as the company increases its activity in the US boating market during what it describes as a more measured, value-driven phase in 2026.
Stephen Vargas has joined the Lake Park, Florida, facility as a fabricator, and Hayden Devoe has been appointed apprentice fabricator. Both are based at the Florida operation and support installers, boatbuilders and owners across new-build and refit projects. The US team is led by Chad Adams, who heads up Flexiteek USA. Since the launch of the firm’s US operation in early 2025, Adams has overseen its establishment, including the introduction of local technical support, the development of installer partnerships and collaboration with OEMs across the country.
Flexiteek is exhibiting at the Miami International Boat Show 2026 in Florida, which kicks off today (11 February 2026). Chad Adams will attend alongside Alex Raeissi of Teaklite Flooring. The company plans to present Flexiteek 3 – its newest, recyclable synthetic teak decking – at the event, where visitors will be able to review the product’s grain patterns and colour options in person.
Flexiteek International has produced synthetic decking and marine products since 2000. The second-generation Flexiteek product was introduced in 2014. In 2024, the third-generation Flexiteek 3 range was nominated for a Dame Design Award. The latest version is manufactured using bio-attributed PVC, replacing fossil-fuel-based PVC.
Flexiteek 3 is offered in fifteen colours, including the Tritone range. The portfolio includes six dark wood and monochrome finishes, plus three caulking colours.
Flexiteek Group also includes Wilks Marine Fendering Products, which has manufactured fendering in the UK for more than 50 years. The Wilks range is supported by a UK-based sales team.
