Italian design studio Luca Dini Design & Architecture has announced a strategic partnership with Monaco-based marina consultancy M3 in a bid to advance the development of global marinas and waterfront spaces.
M3 Monaco is known for its expertise in market strategy, operations and governance, while Luca Dini Design & Architecture brings experience in architecture, interior design and the creation of luxury destinations. Together, the partnership aims to support premium waterfront projects that combine design with consultancy.
Industry forecasts anticipate that the marina and waterfront development sector will attract significant investment over the next five to ten years.
The joint venture will focus on projects that preserve local identity while meeting the needs of modern yachting communities. It will also align with recognised best practices, including the La Belle Classe Destinations certification framework of the Yacht Club de Monaco.
Bernard d’Alessandri, secretary general of Yacht Club de Monaco, notes: “Monaco has long been a reference in global yachting. Initiatives such as this partnership contribute to extending that legacy through ambitious developments worldwide.”
The partnership offers a full-service model covering the lifecycle of marina and waterfront projects, supporting investors, developers, governments and private stakeholders. Initial presentations show an “integrated and risk-mitigated approach” across six phases. From initial market analysis and feasibility studies to regulatory and institutional advisory, the alliance notes that the projects will be grounded in planning.
By integrating ESG compliance with architecture, design and governance, the collaboration aims to create sustainable, financially stable and future-ready waterfront destinations.
Luca Dini, founder and CEO of Luca Dini Design & Architecture, comments: “As global investment turns toward marinas and waterfronts, this partnership places us at the forefront of an expanding market. Together, we are ready to guide investors and institutions through a transformational decade for the nautical sector.”
José Marco Casellini, CEO of M3 Monaco, adds: “We share a vision: marinas must evolve into dynamic, sustainable, and high-performing destinations. This alliance enables us to deliver that evolution with unmatched depth of expertise.”
