MDL Marinas launches fuel discount for members

MDL Marinas is introducing a temporary fuel discount for Otium members, offering 10p off per litre at its fuel stations across the UK throughout April.

The timing is designed to coincide with the start of the boating season and the Easter period, when activity on the water typically increases after winter ends.

The discount applies across MDL’s network of 12 fuel stations. The company states that more than 36,000 Otium members are eligible, and that loyalty points continue to accrue on fuel purchases made during the promotion.

“The start of the boating season and Easter are always exciting times as more people head back out on the water,” says Daniel Horsley, operations director, MDL Marinas. By offering 10p off every litre of fuel this April, we hope it helps our members get out and make the most of the season ahead.

“At MDL we do all we can to help our customers enjoy more time on the water, and this offer is just one way we can support them.”

The offer is available to Otium members refuelling at MDL fuel stations throughout April.

Otium is MDL Marinas’ customer loyalty programme. Members collect points across MDL locations, which can be redeemed against services such as fuel, berthing and other marina-related purchases.

MDL recently added 12 new partners to the Otium programme, taking the total number of partners to more than 50 and widening the range of rewards available to members.

The expansion follows a strong year for the scheme. MDL reports that Otium members earned 1.6m points in 2025 and redeemed 1.2m during the same period. Since the programme launched in 2020, more than 5.5m points have been earned, with 3.8m redeemed.
