Seaquip attendance ‘exceeds expectations’ – 2027 edition to double in size

The first edition of the Seaquip – Mediterranean Yacht & Marine Equipment Trade Fair has delivered on the goals set by Easyfairs for the event’s debut in the nautical sector, with more than half of the exhibitors in attendance confirming their participation for 2027.

The second edition of Seaquip is scheduled to take place 3 March to 5 March 2027.

Easyfairs confirms several marine businesses have already joined the 2027 edition despite not taking part in this year’s event, a sign that the positive response to the first edition has attracted new players to the exhibition.

The exhibition space will be doubled for the 2027 edition of Seaquip, and the event will expand with new services and products dedicated to marinas.

Pier Paolo Ponchia, CEO of Easyfairs Italia, says: “We are satisfied with the results achieved in this first edition, which attracted more than 3,000 entries from industry professionals: thanks to Easyfairs’ experience in organising trade fairs, we can say that this figure exceeded our expectations and is very encouraging for the first edition of a B2B event, making us optimistic about the future of the exhibition.

“Both visitors and exhibitors expressed positive feedback, confirming the interest and willingness of the entire supply chain to have a reference B2B event in Milan. We also recorded the presence of numerous representatives from major Italian and international shipyards, who appreciated the opportunity to meet suppliers and brands that are not present at other events.”

Exhibitors at the first edition of Seaquip – Mediterranean Yacht & Marine Equipment Trade Fair commented on the show’s strategic location, layout, and more than half have already confirmed their participation in the second edition.

Pietro Cappiello of CMC Marine, who has already confirmed the company’s participation for next year, adds: “The launch of Seaquip showed good attendance and generated interesting contacts for our business, the presence of a national B2B trade fair capable of bringing together the entire supply chain of components and accessories represents an important element for the sector.”

Francesca Peverino, Italy operation manager at Raymarine, says: “We greatly appreciated the professional organisation of this new trade fair and hope it will continue to grow in future editions. It was an opportunity to initiate a series of very interesting contacts and, in this regard, the summary of all the visits to our stand that we received through the Easyfairs app was very useful.”

Giancarlo Faglia, general manager of Euthalia Marine, comments: “Seaquip proved to be a new strategic hub for international excellence in the maritime sector. For us, it was the ideal opportunity to present important innovations in our lightning protection solutions. We will return for the second edition as well.”

Feedback from exhibitors and professionals who visited the fair, including component manufacturers, designers, naval engineers, surveyors, captains, and representatives from technical offices and research and development departments of numerous shipyards, will be utilised to the full in the planning for the next edition of the show.
