TheYachtMarket updates Stantia platform for brokers

TheYachtMarket has released a series of updates to Stantia, its customer relationship management (CRM) platform, including the introduction of a PDF creation tool aimed at yacht brokers.

Stantia was launched in 2024 as a tool to manage boat inventory, customer relationships, reports, and more.

The new PDF creator enables brokers to produce branded sales documents directly from boat listings. Documents are generated without the use of third-party design software or manual formatting, reducing the time required to prepare materials for clients.

The tool can create multiple templates, ranging from multi-page specification brochures to single-page window cards. Templates can be produced in portrait or landscape format and configured with brokerage-specific fonts, colours and contact details. Branding can be removed where required to support co-brokerage arrangements. Units of measurement are converted automatically to maintain consistency across listings in different markets.

After templates are configured, PDFs are generated by selecting a boat and a template. The completed document is produced immediately and downloaded for use.

“The PDF creator is a game-changer for yacht brokers,” says Richard Roberts, CEO of TheYachtMarket. “We’ve listened closely to our clients and understand that time is their most valuable resource. This feature eliminates hours of manual work, allowing brokers to focus on what they do best – connecting buyers with their dream boats. We’re proud of this creation and to help lead the way in making brokers’ lives easier.”

Wider programme of updates

The PDF creator forms part of a wider programme of updates delivered to Stantia during 2025. These changes focus on how brokers manage contacts, leads and listings within the platform.

Additional updates introduced during the year include changes to customer engagement tools. Brokers can now record whether contacts are opted in or out of email marketing and export contact data in CSV format for use with third-party email platforms. Exported files include contact tags to support list segmentation. Task management has been expanded so that tasks can be linked to contacts and boats, with related activity displayed on individual contact and boat pages. Visual indicators identify overdue tasks.

Lead management tools have also been updated. Brokers can assign temperature settings to leads to support prioritisation, alongside enhanced search by temperature, source and tags. Stantia now allows multiple primary email addresses to be marked for a single contact, with system emails sent to all selected addresses.

TheYachtMarket.com operates an online marketplace for buying and selling boats and provides software tools for marine industry professionals. The company has been active in the sector for more than 20 years.
