Video footage has been posted of a huge sandstorm sweeping across the Suez Canal in Egypt.

One person died and five others were injured according to the BBC, when a billboard collapsed as a result of the storm sweeping through Egypt’s capital, Cairo. This occurred in early June 2023.
In March 2021, the Suez Canal was blocked by a āsuper-stuckā container ship, Ever Given. The incident caused worldwide disruption to supply routes.
