Acquera Yachting opens Istanbul office

Italian superyacht agency Acquera Yachting has opened a new office in Istanbul, extending its presence in the Eastern Mediterranean and adding another base to its international operational network.

The new location forms part of the company’s wider system of regional hubs, and will support coordination of services within Turkish waters and nearby regions. Acquera Yachting says Istanbul was selected for its world-class maritime infrastructure, geographical position between Europe and Asia and its growing prominence in the nautical sector.

“Istanbul offers exceptional connectivity, a rapidly evolving yachting ecosystem, and access to an increasingly international clientele,” says Muhteşem Ar, the country’s managing director. “Our presence here strengthens operational efficiency and service responsiveness, positioning Acquera Yachting as a leading partner across Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean.”

The office is located close to the Pendik shipyards and Viaport Marina, and around 25 minutes from Sabiha Gökçen International Airport.

The surrounding shipyard area is used for refit and maintenance work, particularly during the winter period, with facilities providing year-round services for yachts requiring repair and upkeep.

Beyond its maritime infrastructure, Istanbul also offers cultural and historical sites alongside hospitality and leisure options used by visiting guests and crew.

From the office, the company manages clearance procedures, regulatory formalities, provisioning and logistics coordination for vessels operating in the region.
