Synthetic decking specialist Flexiteek International has launched a new 3D deck designer, a digital platform that lets users view the company’s decking colours in an interactive virtual environment.
The platform allows users to visualise Flexiteek marine decking on different boat types, including sailing boats, motorboats, catamarans and other vessels. Users can also test plank and caulking colour combinations to compare options for their boat.
The tool shows how the decking may appear on board, and lets users rotate views and compare combinations during the selection process.
Steve Moore, the firm’s marketing manager, says: “Every detail matters on a boat deck. By allowing users to explore colour and caulking combinations together in 3D, we are giving them far greater control and clarity before any installation takes place.”

The company says the platform is intended to simplify decking selection and help customers refine their deck choice before installation.
The Flexiteek 3D deck designer is available now at configurator.flexiteek.com.
Flexiteek has produced synthetic decking and marine products since 2000. The first-generation Flexiteek range was introduced as a synthetic decking product. A second-generation range followed in 2014 with updated features.
In 2024, the third-generation Flexiteek range was nominated for a Dame Award. The range uses bio-attributed PVC, replacing fossil-fuel-based PVC. Flexiteek says it also offers improved heat performance.
Flexiteek 3 is available in 15 colours, including the Tritone range. The line includes six dark-wood and monochrome colours. Users can choose from three caulking colours: cool white, contemporary grey and traditional black.
