International deck hardware and sailing systems manufacturer Harken has announced a new three-year partnership agreement with Foiling Week. Harken is joining as official racing partner, starting with the event’s 13th edition – scheduled to take place from 27 June to 5 July at Fraglia Vela Malcesine on Italy’s Lake Garda.
Founded in 2014, Foiling Week is established as an international hub for foiling innovation, combining technology, research and performance. Leveraging the event’s experimental format, Harken will offer participants the opportunity to trial products on the water. The manufacturer will supply block kits for installation on participating yachts, allowing sailors and technical teams to evaluate hardware performance and load control under real racing conditions during training sessions.
Harken will be present at the Foiling Week village at Fraglia Vela Malcesine, serving as a networking and technical touchpoint for athletes, engineering teams and industry stakeholders.

The multi-year collaboration aligns with Harken’s ongoing B2B strategy to develop and refine high-efficiency, reliable and accessible hardware solutions for sailors worldwide. It’ll showcase a selection of solutions specifically designed for foiling classes, with particular focus on block systems engineered to deliver maximum efficiency, reliability and load control.
“We are proud to support Foiling Week, an event that perfectly embodies the spirit of innovation that has always driven Harken,” says Emanuele Cecchini, commercial director of Harken Italy. “For us, it represents a valuable opportunity to meet athletes from around the world and share knowledge, expertise and experience. We believe this direct exchange creates opportunities for mutual growth and brings value to the entire foiling community.”
Participants will have the opportunity to discover some of Harken’s most renowned product families, including Fly, Carbo, Zircon and Black Magic, developed to meet the demanding requirements of high-performance sailing and foiling applications.
Visitors to the village will also be able to explore a selection of products from Spinlock (Harken is the brand’s exclusive distributor in the Italian market).
Foiling is a growing hotbed within the marine industry. Earlier this year, the global foiling sector gathered in Genoa, Italy, for the third edition of the World Foiling Congress to discuss the latest technology and regulatory developments.
