Numarine launches Classic superyacht line

Turkish yacht builder Numarine has introduced a Classic superyacht line with two initial models, the 38XPC and 39MXPC.

The range draws on the company’s existing explorer yacht platforms. Exteriors are by Can Yalman, naval architecture is by Umberto Tagliavini, and the initial interiors are by Italian studio Hot Lab, part of the Swedish design hub Viken Group.

Numarine says it has developed the new line in response to client interest.

“The Classic Line emerged quite naturally from a period of reflection,” says Yalman. “After years of working on highly optimised, contemporary explorer yachts, there was a desire to reconnect with more timeless principles of naval design.

“At the same time, we sensed a growing desire for this direction, perhaps a need for a more reflective, balanced approach to yachting. One that moves away from excess, instead emphasises harmony, connection with nature, and a more timeless, almost romantic idea of life at sea.”

For the 39MXPC, the aft section has been reconfigured to include a Jacuzzi and an open terrace positioned closer to the water. The yard says this layout is intended to create a sociable onboard setting.

The 38XPC uses a more traditional arrangement, with an emphasis on proportion and heritage cues.

“With the new Classic superyacht line, we are proud to maintain the same core principles of efficiency, seaworthiness, stability and autonomy for which Numarine is known,” says Tagliavini.

Patrik von Sydow, newly appointed CEO at Numarine, says: “This Classic Line represents a natural and strategic evolution for Numarine. It allows us to broaden our design language and reach a wider audience while staying true to the core principles that define the brand: efficiency, capability, and usability.”

He continues: “In an industry often driven by fast-changing trends, the Classic Line offers a more enduring perspective: yachts designed not just for today, but for lasting relevance. We are really excited to see how the industry reacts.”

The news comes in a period of momentum for Numarine, including new model launches and increasing global demand for the XP Series, ranging from 22 to 47 metres. In June 2025, Numarine appointed Chris Gore as its new sales and marketing director.

In August 2025, the yard rolled out the second hull of its 30XP model, the brand’s 30-metre explorer superyacht equipped with a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system.
